Title: THE REAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND DEVIL –not enemies but accomplices. Author: Chiwara Amos (Nyanzvi Reprimanded) B.Acc (Bindura University of Science Education)

CHAPTER ONE

THE FORMS OF GOD AND DEVIL

The framework of the ideas of forms is to have a materialistic perception of the forms of God and Devil. This is then applied to determine the particular qualities God and Devil must have if they are to appeal to reason.

Mystical visions

“And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters … And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made a firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven … And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear, and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas… And the evening and morning were the third day,” Genesis 1:1-13; King James Version (KJV).

It can be inferred that the firmament is the space above the earth which literally represents the atmosphere. Impliedly from the quote this is the space in which the spirit of God moved since the spirit of God moved upon the face of the ‘waters ‘(from which the Earth was formed). The space in which the spirit of God moved upon, that is the ‘waters’ can be distinguished from the space upon where darkness lay, that is the ‘deep’. Therefore, these ‘waters’ and the ‘deep’ form two realms which were then divided by a firmament. This firmament separating the waters above which imply the “deep” from the waters below which imply the “waters” (the substance of which formed the Earth), is the space in which the spirit of God moved. If this space literally represents the atmosphere, then the spirit of God moved in the atmosphere. Also, if the atmosphere represents the space in which the spirit of God moved, then this explains a theory of the omnipresence of the spirit of God. However, this remains only theoretical rather than real and according to the mystical vision the spirit of God just moves like a snake in the air (see illustrations).

There are several Biblical texts that support the association of God with the snake. God gave confirmation of His appearance to Moses as follows. “And Moses answered and said, “But, behold, they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, had appeared unto thee.” Exodus 4: 1-5(KJV). This would obviously bear significance if the snake is associated with God to the Israelites.

The miracle Moses performed before Pharaoh was to cast Aaron’s rod to the ground and it turned into a serpent. Thus a true stamp of the presence of God. When the Egyptian magicians tried to do the same their snakes were swallowed by Moses’ snake. Exodus 7.

God sent fiery serpents to bite the people in execution of penalty accruing from the people’s acts. However, God later granted amnesty and instructed Moses to make a brass serpent, such that whoever looked at the serpent would be healed from the snake bite. Therefore, the serpent of brass assumed godly powers to heal the people of Israel. Numbers 21. This marked the end of the exodus with people beginning to occupy land which belonged to the Amorites: “on this other side of the river Jordan”, which became the inheritance of the tribe of Rueben.

The form of the spirit of God can be distinguished from the form of ‘God the creator’ who is the deity commonly referred to as just God. The creation account shows God the creator having apparent human being qualities underscored. “And God said, let there be light; and there was light. And God saw the light that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness… And God called the light day and darkness he called Night. And the evening and morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:3-5(KJV). This shows God having attributes of speech (God said), sight (God saw), impressions (…that it was good) and being male (he). According to the mystical vision God is indeed a male figure and appears on the wall (see illustrations).

“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death.  And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court that the word of the LORD came to him saying. Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.”2 Kings 20:1-5(KJV).

The testimony of Hezekiah after this prayer shows adherence to the principle of having eyes open in a mystical experience as well as God being an object of material reality in this world: “I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world” Isaiah 38: 11(KJV). Expressly suggesting that God is an object of material reality in this world observable by sight. This is the ‘LORD seen from the wall’.

The spirituality of God existing in two forms implies ranks within the order of the gods. The spirit of God is of the higher order and God the creator is subordinate. The existence of two separate forms of God is supported from experiences that took place during the birth of Zerah and Perez taken as a riddle and interpreted by spiritual enlightenment.

Perez the younger brother stole Zerah’s birthright right from birth when ‘his hand took hold of Zerah’s heel’. The Israelite midwives had to tie Zerah’s hand with a ‘thread’ to mark that he is firstborn. In time Perez became superior over Zerah, representing the superiority of ‘the serpent’ –that ‘takes by the heel’ above the hand tied with the ‘black bandanna’. Genesis 38.

In immediate intuition the forms of the Devil follow four highest ranks. The first rank according to the mystical vision is like a stripped dog (see illustrations). The second rank is like the Devil ascending out of earth and covered with a mantle (see illustrations). The third rank is a white light (see illustrations). The fourth and last rank is the whore which is a feminine spirit in the nude and assuming a bent position, and of the black race (the illustration of which has been precluded because of its explicit nature).

The mystical visions can be compared with visions given in Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation. Below is a table matching the mystical visions with visions contained in the aforementioned Biblical books.

The differences between the Biblical visions and visions as per text is due to the fact that the Biblical visions lack very much in principle in terms of an empirical observation. The visions are generally of what is to come and not perceptions of objects of external reality by the sense of sight in a currently obtaining moment. However, their expediency is in giving separable forms of a spiritual substance. Notwithstanding, the Devil being presented in different guises throughout the Bible e.g. as a serpent in the Garden of Eden and as a beast in Revelation. This is the art of evil to present its forms in different guises that tend to mutate in order to sustain confusion. For example, Leviathan the crooked serpent emerges from the ground to climb up a tree (guised as the tree in the middle of a garden), then it turns into a beast like a leopard running away from the tree, and then in order to keep attraction and increase in momentum it develops wings so that it begins to hop and fly. These remain just but different guises of the same devil.

The discussions of the forms of Devil will follow from visions according to text which adhere to the espoused principles of mysticism. To assess these forms the following designations apply. The striped dog presents the spirit of Devil. A devil ascending out of earth and covered with a mantle presents Satan. The white light presents the spirit of the ‘Whore’. The Whore presents the last entity of three humanly forms of spirit from the mystical experiences.

The existence of distinct and separate forms of ‘spirit of Devil’ and Devil: Satan is similar to the existence of distinct and separate forms of ‘spirit of God’ and God: Jehovah. God (Jehovah) is a human spiritual form which also applies to Devil (Satan). On the other hand, ‘spirit of God’ is animal spiritual form which also applies to ‘spirit of Devil’.

The identification of Satan in the mystical experience can be compared with the identification of Samuel when Saul consulted a seer in the Bible. The seer saw gods rising out of earth covered with a mantle and it was recognised as Samuel.1 Samuel 28:13-14. This makes no apparent difference between the godly tendencies of Satan and Samuel a prophet of God. Moreover, similar to Samuel’s case, Satan appears speaking according the mystical experience. The similarity in appearance and form between Samuel and Satan shows that God and Devil are not enemies but have the same qualities.

The white light is a spirit behind evangelism. Paul was converted after seeing the light. Acts 9. Paul afterwards then performed ‘unusual wonders and miracles’ (Acts 19:11-12). In comparison the ‘false prophet’ (who is the equivalent of the white light according to text) is prophesied as equally performing great miracles (Revelation 13:12-15). This shows no antagonism between Paul and the false prophet but a spirit of evangelism subject to the ‘light’.

The fourth rank of the devils from the mystical visions is in the form of a human spirit of a woman. This form can be identified with the virgin daughter of Babylon (refer to Table 1).Isaiah 47:1-2.

Although the dog and the whore are regarded as abominations in Israel in the Old Testament. There are great expeditions of God that show no abomination but rather blessings to Israel through the dog and the whore. The famous battle of Gideon i.e. of the three hundred against the Midianites shows harmony between God and the ‘dog’. The victorious army of Israel consisting of the three hundred was selected under God’s discretion as of those who acted in a manner like dogs. This implies harmony between God and the dog (‘spirit of Devil’-stripped dog). Judges 6-8. In Joshua 2 a harlot harboured Israelite spies sent into the Promised Land. The company of Jesus in terms of ladies was familiar with harlots who would at times anoint him. The idiom ‘with his stripes we are healed’ (Isaiah 53:5) is nothing but the identity of the striped dog attached to Jesus.

Physical beings subject to the mystical visions

The existence of distinct and separate gods can be further expounded by the dependence of individual objects of biological human form on the existence of the gods. The dependence of individual subject objects on the existence of the gods can be developed from the creation of human beings account in Genesis. Three human beings were created who become subject to the three separate and distinct gods in human form. The three separate and distinct gods are Jehovah, Satan and the Whore according to text and this postulates a theory of the trinity.

According to Genesis 1:27, “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created He them…” This implies three human beings two males and a female. ‘Him’ identifies one male; ‘them’ identifies another male and one female to make three. These three individuals can be identified as Melchizedek, Jesus and Eve.

The following is an account of Melchizedek contained in the book of Hebrews 7:1-3. “For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the son of God; abideth a priest continually.”

If Melchizedek has neither father nor mother, then he can only be a direct creation from the image of God. Therefore, representing a corporeal being subject to the spiritual object of God (Jehovah). In which particular case Melchizedek can be matched with the person- “him” with reference to Genesis 1:27: “in the image of God created he him.” Therefore, Melchizedek is the corporeal being created in the image of God: Jehovah.

The prophecy concerning Jesus in Isaiah 9:6(KJV) refers to Jesus as: “Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting father, The Prince of Peace.” In comparison, while other titles also befit Melchizedek, his title as ‘The King of Peace’ is distinguishing from ‘The Prince of Peace’ the title for Jesus. This supports that although Melchizedek and Jesus are of a similar nature or identity, the former is more superior. Jesus then can only be identified with one of the other two corporeal beings described as: “male and female created He them”. Jesus becomes the corporeal being subject to the object of the spiritual being representing the ‘male’ who is part of ‘them’ (distinguished from the object of ‘Him’ who is ‘He’). The account of the Gospel of John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word was God”, giving reference to Jesus as the ‘word’ shows the existence of Jesus in the generation of the genesis.

Psalm 110:1 (KJV): “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” This is a testimony of David, of which, can be used to support the existence of separate and distinct gods. Here two gods are identified (a) the LORD and (b) the Lord who sits at the right-hand of the ‘LORD’ in (a). Hezekiah’s testimony of Isaiah 38:11(KJV): “I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living…”, also implies a dual existence of two separate and distinct gods.

Jesus uses the above psalm of David in a controversy over the superiority of himself and David. Matthew 22. Jesus identifies the Christ (himself) with the other Lord in (b) above. Jesus, therefore, identifies himself with the existence of a Lord, however, not to undermine coexistence of another Lord. Nevertheless, the spiritual identity of Jesus is assumed to be Satan in this text. In other words, making Jesus represent the corporeal being of the identity of Satan. This Lord coexisting with another Lord is just but Satan (the subordinate Lord but not necessarily at enmity with the other Lord: God (Jehovah).

The last corporeal being in this trinity is a woman. This is inferred from Genesis 1:27: “…male and female created He them” and if the male counterpart has been discussed already, then the other corporeal being yet to be addressed is subject to the female counterpart. Eve being the only female in that generation assumes the identity of the corporeal being created from this image of a feminine spirit.

It is debatable to suggest that Eve was created from the bone of Adam. This can be argued from the existence of two creation accounts, one in Genesis 1:26-27 and another in Genesis 2. Differences can be noted in terms of the following: day of creation; and population.

Day of creation

From Genesis 1:26-27, human beings were created on day six following the order of events. In Genesis 2, Adam was created on a day pointing out to be day three. This is the day when the Lord created the Earth and created “man out of dust of the ground.” The creation of Eve by virtue of being the only woman in that generation is subject to day six.

Population

From Genesis 1:27, three human beings were created, “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created He them”. This implies three human beings two males and a female. In Genesis 2 only Adam was created from the “dust of the ground”.

Eve only appeared to Adam on a day pointing out to be day six after God had formed every beast of the field and every fowl of the air. Genesis 2:19. The story of Eve being created from the bone of Adam and Adam calling her woman because she was taken out of man all giving reason for marriage, is nothing more than an etiological myth on the institution of marriage. Besides, Adam was created as a mere husbandman endowed only with industrial and domestic arts but not acquainted with higher knowledge ‘of good and evil’, found in the fruit of a tree of which he was forbidden to eat. An unforbidden and accomplice of God, Eve, who was created on day six from a third and separate female god (with a dominion over the tree of knowledge) explains why she tempted Adam and they both did not die. Eve like Melchizedek and Jesus maintain no record of death in the Bible unlike Adam who is recorded as having died at the age of 930 years. Genesis 5:5.
